Jakob works as a Campus Coordinator, collaborating with the Campus Manager in Oslo (Bent Kjetil) and the rest of the campus administration to deliver services to students as well as maintain and manage the campus. Jakob is primarily responsible for the equipment storage in Oslo, providing loans, training, and instruction for students as needed, as well as servicing and maintaining the equipment.

Since 2015, Jakob has been freelancing in the film/TV industry, participating in film, TV, commercial, and music video productions both domestically and internationally. He holds a degree in Cinematography from Noroff.
