How is AI used in our 3D programmes?
Students have the option to use AI to support their work with research, idea development, project planning, concepts and problem Solving. It can also be used to create tools that automate or simplify repetitive tasks. It is important to emphasise that AI is seen as a tool in the workflow; the student is responsible for creative direction, technical execution, decision-making, and final delivery.
How is AI used in the industry?
In the games and animation industry, AI is increasingly being integrated into several phases of production. It is used, among other things, for:
- Concept Development
- Rapid prototyping
- Programming Support
- Generation of placeholder 3D models
Across both education and industry, AI is mainly used to streamline workflows while ownership of the idea, direction, and final product is determined by humans. This is an area in rapid development, and we continuously keep up to date on new tools, methods and practices in active collaboration with the industry.
