Student Loans and Grants for Education in Norway
All of our study programmes are approved for loans and grants through the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund (Lånekassen).
Tuition fees are invoiced twice a year, once per semester. Invoices are sent to the email address you’ve registered.

Tuition fees are due one month after the semester starts.
All study programs at Noroff are NOKUT accredited. As a Noroff student, you may be eligible for financial support through Lånekassen.
The main requirement is Norwegian citizenship, but foreign citizens may also qualify under certain conditions.

Financial support from Lånekassen consists of both grants and loans.
- A grant is money you are given and don’t need to repay.
- A loan must be repaid over time.

Higher Vocational College
- Module assignments: First two attempts included. Additional attempt: NOK 500
- Course/project assignments and exams: First attempt included. Resit: NOK 2,200 (from 01.01.2023)
- Change of study workload (part-time/full-time): NOK 3,000
- Delay in progression / class change: NOK 3,000
- Extended access after expiry: NOK 10,000 per semester
Diplomas and Transcripts
- Original diploma and transcript included
- New diploma: NOK 1,000
University College
- Continuation exam: Included
- New exam / repeating course: NOK 750 per ECTS
- Visit lanekassen.no
- Select “Grants and loans”
- Choose your education level: University/University College or Vocational School
- Click “Apply” and log in
- Fill in the application. Select Noroff as your institution and add your chosen program
- When approved, sign the agreement – preferably electronically
