We are looking for applicants from both academic and industry backgrounds who are eager to contribute to a practice-orientated learning environment and support the development of future digital security professionals.
Your role:
As a Lecturer / Assistant Professor, you will contribute to the development and delivery of our undergraduate Cyber Security curriculum, mentor students, and participate in academic planning and quality assurance.
Main responsibilities:
- Deliver and support core and advanced undergraduate topics
- Develop course materials, assessments, and practical exercises
- Supervise and mentor student projects
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic planning
- Participate in internal meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
Required qualifications:
- Fluent in English
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Digital Forensics, or a related field
- Strong technical knowledge and practical experience in one or more of the following:
- Computer Networks (TCP/IP, secure design)
- Cyber Security Operations
- Digital Forensics (e.g., memory or mobile device analysis)
- Incident Response (threat detection and remediation)
- Operating Systems (Windows/Linux)
- Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing
Desirable qualifications:
- Experience in SOC, CSIRT, law enforcement, or cyber incident response
- Relevant certifications (e.g., GCFA, GCIH, CHFI, OSCP, CEH, CISSP)
- PhD or equivalent industry experience
- Proficiency in Norwegian
- Teaching experience or technical training delivery
- Formal pedagogical qualifications (training can be provided)
