This comprehensive short course provides essential skills in Cyber Security for Cloud Computing. Over four weeks, you will gain practical knowledge in identity and access management, platform protection, and data and application security using major cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.

Designed for IT professionals and system administrators aiming to strengthen their knowledge of cloud computing security. This course aims to enhance your understanding of security in cloud computing environments. It's especially useful for those transitioning from on-premise infrastructure to cloud-based solutions.
What you will learn
The course is structured around four key modules:
- Introduction to Cyber Security for Cloud Computing: This module covers the essential concepts of cloud security, including unique challenges and solutions. Learn practical skills in setting up and managing Identity and Access Management systems in cloud platforms.
- Platform protection: Learn about the security measures necessary to protect cloud platforms, This includes both theoretical approaches and practical implementation strategies for securing cloud infrastructure and services.
- Data and Application Security: Understand how to secure data stored in the cloud and protect applications from various security threats, exploring both preventive measures and responsive strategies.
- Security operations: Gain insights into best practices for managing security incidents and operations in the cloud.
Certification
We recommend exploring and preparing for the CCSA or AZ-500 certification exams. We offer test centers in Bergen, Oslo, Stavanger, and Kristiansand. Course Information
Location:
- Remote:The course is remote instructor-led, offering you the flexibility to learn from anywhere.
- Campus: We also offer the option to attend the course on campus in Oslo Campus startup pending registration numbers to meet the required threshold.
Duration: 4 weeks, part-time.
Weekly schedule: 2 synchronous online sessions (4 hours total). 2 hours of asynchronous practical activities, 4 hours self-study.
Price: NOK 20 000.
This course is not eligible for loans and grants from the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund.
Recommended prerequisites
Basic computer literacy is required. Prior knowledge of cloud fundamentals and certifications like Microsoft AZ900 or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner are advantageous but not mandatory
