Professor Reinhardt Botha is an expert in the fields of information and cyber security, as well as personal privacy. He has extensive experience in post-graduate supervision, having graduated numerous master’s and doctoral candidates. He has more than 100 publications in journals and conferences. He serves on the Editorial Board of the Information and Computer Security Journal and the highly-rated Computers & Security Journal.
Research Interests
Professor Botha current research focuses on information security management, as well as personal privacy. He is specifically interested in the risks that Artificial Intelligence (AI) introduce and the role it can play in mitigating those risks.
