Relevant for the Future Job Market

In a world where cyber threats pose constant challenges to both public and private sectors, the need for skilled professionals to handle and respond to cyberattacks is critical. According to the latest threat assessment from the Norwegian Police Security Service (PST), the demand for security experts will continue to grow as cyber threats evolve. Our students will be well-equipped to help safeguard organizations and society against future cybercrime.

The program provides a comprehensive introduction to digital forensic methods and incident response, with a practical focus on analyzing and managing incidents such as cyberattacks, hacking, and ransomware. By combining theory with hands-on training, students will develop the necessary skills to navigate this dynamic and crucial field.

- Our Cybercrime Investigation and Response programme provides a strong foundation in digital forensics and incident response, making it an excellent choice for those unsure about committing to a full bachelor's degree in DFIR or for professionals looking to build core expertise in the field, Butterfield adds.
